Think, Act and Achieve!

The Youth of a Nation are the trustees of posterity. – Benjamin Disraeli

We all know that the future of a nation lies in its posterity. ‘Youth’, in India, forms a significant percentage of the overall population. They are the powerhouse of potential that can boost the economy of any country to one of the most powerful ones in the world. However, lack of opportunities and skills are preventing this. A majority of youngsters belong to villages which deprives them from job opportunities. India, being an agricultural economy, leaves the youngsters with no other option than to do farming. The rural youth are an untapped potential that can be utilized for improving the per capita income of households. This can be done only if they engage in different productive activities.

To earn livelihood through other means, the rural youth needs to be skilled and trained in non-traditional skills.

We, at Yuva Parivartan, help not only the rural youth, but also the marginalized youth from lower strata of society. As an NGO, working towards youth empowerment, we conduct vocational training to both men and women so that they can become self-dependant. These courses are conducted through camps held in villages. Yuva Parivartan also encourages and trains school dropouts, who are not educated enough to eke out a living. With the help of vocational training conducted by Yuva Parivartan, such youth are empowered with skills so that they can earn a livelihood and lead a respectable life.

Let us focus constructively on tapping the power of youth for the betterment of the nation.
