Yuva Parivartan(YP), one of the leading NGOs of India, has been working hard for the last few years to help the unemployed school dropouts. Yuva Parivartan imparts vocational training to such youth so that they become self-reliant and can earn on their own. YP’s entrepreneurship development program also helps in honing the entrepreneurial skills of school dropouts. This program focuses on the means of earning, how to set up a business, how to procure a loan, and to optimize resources to earn maximum profits.
Yuva Parivartan has also made significant contribution to improve the lives of jail inmates with the belief that everyone deserves a second chance in life. We work hard to rehabilitate inmates so that once they get discharged from prison; they can start a fresh and meaningful life. One such prison rehabilitation program was held at Yerwada Prison, that was aimed to provide skills for self-development. Apart from various skill development courses, they were also given a brief training on English speaking. To encourage them, certificates were distributed to the participants by Mrs. Mrinalini Kher, Honorary Secretary Kherwadi Social Welfare Association along with Senior Jailer.
As one of the India’s leading NGOs, we were invited by Mumbai Police to manage their First Time Offender (FTO) Rehabilitation Project. Under this project, people who commit offence for the first time are sent for rehabilitation. The first time offenders within the age group of 18-25 years are offered counselling and guidance sessions so that they can lead productive lives.
