Yuva Parivartan (YP) has succeeded in altering thousands of young lives in a short span. We have imparted vocational training to school dropouts through various projects with the help of which these individuals have become economically and financially independent.
Yuva Parivartan’s projects are based on four pillars, which are, livelihood training, community engagement, placement support and industry partnerships. Livelihood training enables the students to gain expertise in skills like Electrical Wireman, A/C Refrigeration, Motor Mechanic, Motor Driving etc. for boys and courses like Tailoring and Cutting, Beautician, Mehendi etc. for girls. Community engagement aims to address and solve problems faced by the youth jointly with us and local youth leaders by forming clubs.
The most important aspect is the placement of these youth after they are trained. In the new initiative by Yuva Parivartan, vacancies will now be identified within the YP format and students will be assisted through the entire interview and selection process. Identifying self employment opportunities is another aspect that will be stressed upon in this new plan. Apart from this, we will also be tying up with trade agencies and associations for employment opportunities in the unorganized sector as well. YP students will be taken physically to places which are potential employers so that the students get interested and enroll themselves for related courses. And the most important of all is that, YP shall be following up with regular feedbacks from every student post employment and give every kind of support needed to make the student a capable and eligible employee.
