Yuva Parivartan, the largest NGO in the country has been working hard for the last few years to redirect school dropouts of the country. Yuva Parivartan has been working and will continue to work selflessly in transforming such lives into more meaningful ones.
In India, the joint family system still prevails to a large extent. But often such families have less income as compared to the mouths that have to be fed.
Yuva Parivartan came across Mrs. Sulbha Sahadev Shinde, a resident of Ghatkopar, who has a huge family and her husband was the only earning resource. She had always wanted to help and assist her husband but was unable to do so due to lack of proper guidance.
But this was until she met us. As soon as Sulbha enrolled into our ‘Entrepreneurship Development Programme’, she realized what all she could do and also how to go about them, which included running a business, applying for loans from banks, dealing with customers, etc. She decided to try her luck at selling sarees, which she bought from wholesale markets. Within a short span, she started earning profits and with that she bought more sarees and catered to more customers. She now earns a monthly profit of Rs. 6000 approximately.
Yuva Parivartan apart from developing skills, also gives a boost to the self confidence and self esteem of the students. We have altered many lives and hope to make a difference to many more.
